Politics in the Bookshop

Socialist Alliance Bundaberg will be hosting Politics in the Bookshop every Saturday at 10am at the Book Boutique in the main street.

This will be a chance to meet other like-minded people and chat about politics, the economy and other issues of interest.

Don’t worry, you don’t have to be a member of Socialist Alliance to attend or even a socialist. Everyone is welcome regardless of political background.

It’s also a great chance to support a local bookshop, the Book Boutique is a community hub and resource for everyone in Bundaberg.

Have a hug in a mug, as my friend always says, and discuss the latest political developments with a friendly group of fellow news junkies.

If you’re interested in socialism or worker’s rights you can also join Socialist Alliance, the only socialist group systematically organising in regional Queensland.

Socialist Alliance is in the process of organising a weekly stall at Shalom Markets and organising monthly film nights to screen documentaries.

If you are reading this you are engaging with another project of Socialist Alliance Bundaberg, namely Bundaberg News.

This online newspaper is designed as a free resource for the citizens of Bundaberg, with the aim of promoting civic pride.

Hopefully we’ll see you at Politics in the Bookshop!
